It works in parallel to the switch you use for your garage door opener, except that the electronic switch it contains is activated by the remove control that comes with it.
Unfortunately, in our case, it does not work consistently with our garage door opener. I believe it is due to the electronic switch not staying on long enough. There is nothing to adjust how long the electronic switch stays when activated by the remote control. |
